New sushi and Mexican Restaurant
New restaurants coming soon to downtown Belleville

A new Mexican restaurant and a sushi bar are coming to downtown Belleville.
Restaurateur Richie Chavez has set out a sign for the new eatery, to be known as Tienes Hambre, at 100 N. High St. and where The Jug restaurant and bar closed last June.
Also downtown, the owner of Seven bar and restaurant at 7 S. High St. is building a new sushi bar around the corner. Renovation is under way at the former Marvin's Camera store at 28 E. Main St., where the new sushi bar to be known as Shichi, which means "seven" in Japanese, is anticipated to open in time for Art on the Square later this spring.
